Our Process
Eight steps from the first phone call to a finished room with no boxes left behind.
Say Hello
Call or send the form with a little about the room and what is bothering you about it. We reply within one business day.
Free Consultation
We come to the home, measure, look at how the space is used and talk budget honestly. This visit is free and there is no obligation.
The Plan
You receive a layout, a product list with options at two price levels, a timeline and a written quote for our work. Nothing is ordered yet.
Your Approval
You review, change what you want changed and approve. Adjusting a plan is free. Adjusting a delivered sofa is not, which is why this step matters.
Sourcing
We place the orders, track every delivery, receive what we can at our location and chase anything that is late or damaged.
Setup Day
We assemble, install, mount, organize and style. Floors are protected, work is tidy and the whole room comes together in one go.
Walkthrough
We walk the finished space with you, adjust anything that is not right and take every box and scrap of packaging away with us.
Check In
We follow up a few weeks later to see how the room is actually working, and fix anything small that has come up.
Working Together
What the experience actually feels like
Home projects usually go wrong in the gaps, when nobody is quite sure whose job the next thing is. We close those gaps by owning the whole middle of the project, from the plan through to the last box leaving.
- One point of contact from the first visit to the follow up
- A written plan and quote before anything is ordered
- Delivery tracking handled by us, including the chasing
- Damaged or wrong items returned and replaced by us
- Install days confirmed in advance with arrival windows
- Photo updates if you are out of state during the work
What We Need From You
- An honest budget range, even a rough one
- Decisions on selections within about a week
- Access to the home on install days
- Somewhere to stage deliveries, garage or spare room
- A note of anything with sentimental value in the space
- HOA or building approvals where they apply
Process Questions
Good to know before we start
How long does the whole thing take?
Planning takes one to two weeks. Then it depends almost entirely on product lead times, which can be days for in stock items or eight weeks for custom furniture. Setup itself is usually one day per room, two to three for a kitchen.
Do I need to be home during setup?
Not necessarily. Many clients give us access and come home to a finished room, which is honestly the best way to experience it. We send photo updates as we go if you would like them.
What if I do not like something once it is in?
Tell us at the walkthrough. Styling and placement we adjust on the spot at no charge. If a product genuinely is not right, we handle the return within the retailer's window where it is still eligible.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Yes, and we usually recommend it. Most rooms need a few new pieces and a better arrangement of what is already there, not a full replacement.
Do you do the actual construction work?
We handle design, supply, assembly, mounting and organizing. Structural work, plumbing, gas and electrical that requires a licensed trade is coordinated with licensed contractors rather than done by us.
What happens if a delivery is damaged?
We inspect on arrival, photograph the damage, file the claim and arrange the replacement. That chasing is part of what you are paying us for.
Ready to love the room again?
Book a consultation and we will walk the space with you, talk through ideas and send a written plan with real numbers.
