3. Accessible Home Setup

Accessibility matters far more in the homes we set up than on this website. We regularly plan spaces around real mobility and reach needs, including storage placed within comfortable reach rather than high shelves, pull out shelving instead of deep base cabinets, lever and D shaped handles that are easier to grip, seating at heights that are easy to rise from, clear floor paths for walkers and wheelchairs, improved task lighting for low vision, and contrast between surfaces and edges to reduce trip hazards. If accessibility or aging in place is a goal for your project, tell us at the consultation and we will design around it at no extra planning charge.

Accessibility is continuous rather than a one time project. We review pages as content changes and correct issues as they are found. Third party content such as embedded maps is governed by its own provider. We welcome reports of barriers and aim to respond within two business days.
